Gilbert Meher and Ada Meher Teams pledge to Run 10k in Full PPE

2020 was a monumental year for all the wrong reasons, it’s the year that will be remembered for everyone being confined to their homes, the year of social distancing, and the year that pushed healthcare workers to their limits. Without healthcare workers, there is no healthcare, that’s why it’s so important to give them the support they need.

To show our support for the healthcare workers who have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic, 15 members of the Gilbert Meher and Ada Meher teams have decided to complete the Jane Tomlinson 10k Run…in full PPE.

The PPE is being generously donated by the award-winning Hallmark Care Homes and Hallmark Foundation, including face masks, tunics, and gloves. And, all the money raised is being donated to The Care Workers’ Charity, which supports healthcare workers by providing grants, improving working conditions, and providing emotional wellbeing to healthcare workers. Donate to the JustGiving page here and help us reach our goal of £3,000!

The Care Workers’ Charity was launched in 2009 and, as of 2020, has raised £3.2 million and paid out nearly £2 million in Covid-19 Emergency Fund. That’s why the Gilbert Meher Group is proud to be fundraising and demonstrating our support for all the inspirational people in the Healthcare sector.

We are proud to be supporting a charity that shares our goal of supporting healthcare workers and improving the sector for all.

In total, our team is made of 15 amazing people:

Emma Gormley

Craig Ruck

Matthew Brown

Eddy Maywand

We’re immensely grateful for any donation we receive. If you’re able, we’d absolutely love it if you’d donate. Every donation is truly making a difference to someone’s life and goes a long way in supporting the healthcare sector. The Care Workers’ Charity relies on donations from you to give back to the diligent people in the healthcare sector.

The run is taking place on July 3rd so save the date, and Follow us on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook to see how our team is feeling about the run.

As previously mentioned, we are aiming for £3,000, so we’d be immensely grateful if you donated to our JustGiving page here.
