Role: Nursing Home Manager
Location: Leven
Salary: £52,000 per annum (plus KPI & manager bonus - OTE £75,000)
Are you a skilled and driven leader with a proven track record in care home turnaround management? We are looking for an experienced Nursing Home Manager to take on an exciting and challenging opportunity at a 42-bed nursing home (currently operating as a 55-bed home during transitional changes). This role requires a strategic mindset, clinical expertise, and a passion for improving care quality.
 
About the Role
As the Nursing Home Manager, you will:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the home, driving improvements and working towards enhanced Care Inspectorate ratings (currently sitting at 2s).
  • Oversee the transition as the home reduces to 42 beds, with the potential for future development of the space for alternative uses. Your business acumen and opportunity-spotting will be key.
  • Manage and support a fully recruited staff team, ensuring high levels of engagement and performance.
  • Work collaboratively with the Quality Manager currently overseeing the home, who will remain in place until the new manager is appointed.
  • Develop and implement action plans to improve care standards, compliance, and overall resident satisfaction.
 
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • An active NMC pin and experience in nursing home management.
  • Demonstrated success in turnaround situations, with the ability to implement effective improvement plans and deliver results.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and act on business opportunities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements and a proactive approach to meeting and exceeding standards.
