Ward Manager Opportunity – Mental Health Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital
 
Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for mental health care and leadership? I am currently working with an exceptional mental health rehabilitation hospital that is looking to add a compassionate and driven Ward Manager to their team. This full-time position offers Monday to Friday hours (9am-5pm) with a salary of up to £45,000 per year and a £2,000 welcome bonus!
 
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who is passionate about improving patient outcomes and providing leadership in a supportive, high-quality care environment. The role focuses on supporting adults aged 18-65 in their mental health recovery journey, helping them live as independently as possible. You’ll work closely with other healthcare professionals and external partners to provide the best care possible.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, support, and manage a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with service users, their families, and other stakeholders, including primary care, acute and community health services, and the voluntary sector.
  • Drive positive outcomes for service users while maintaining a supportive and engaging environment for your team.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
  • Previous experience in mental health nursing is strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing healthcare teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and approach challenges with empathy.
  • Experience in inpatient mental health settings is desirable.
