A prestigious and highly respected luxury care provider is seeking an exceptional Commissioning Home Manager to lead the opening and successful launch of a brand-new state-of-the-art nursing home in Worcester.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Home Manager to join a forward-thinking organisation that is committed to delivering excellence in elderly care. The new home will offer residential, dementia and nursing care, and has been purpose-built to the highest standards, combining clinical expertise with five-star hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commissioning process from pre-opening through to full occupancy.
  • Recruit, develop and lead a high-performing team focused on outstanding care and service.
  • Ensure the home meets all CQC standards and is fully compliant from day one.
  • Work closely with the senior leadership team to drive strategic planning and operational success.
  • Create a warm, welcoming and safe environment for residents and their families.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders, healthcare professionals, and the local community.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Proven track record as a successful Registered Manager within a nursing home setting.
  • Experience in commissioning or opening a new care home is highly desirable.
  • RGN/RMN qualification (active PIN) preferred, but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of residential, dementia and nursing care.
  • Inspirational leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent understanding of compliance, CQC regulations, and clinical governance.
