Job Description:

We are looking for an Interim Children’s Home Manager to join a well-established children’s home in South Yorkshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact while leading a dedicated team and providing high-quality care to SEND Children.

Role:
Interim Children’s Home Manager
Location: South Yorkshire
Contract Length: 2-3 Months initially

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of support workers, ensuring the highest standards of care.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Develop and implement care plans that cater to individual needs.
  • Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Manage staffing, budgets, and resources effectively.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing children’s homes, ideally with a focus on complex care.
  • A strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements (Ofsted, CQC, etc.).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and lead by example in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
