Role: Regional Manager - Autism Services
Salary: £54,000 - £58,000 + Competitive Benefits Package
Location: Scotland (Flexible with travel requirements)
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a Regional Manager role, leading and developing services that make a tangible difference to the lives of autistic individuals across Scotland.
The Role
As a Regional Manager, you will report to the Director of Operations and take responsibility for the operational and strategic delivery of services across your designated region. Your role will involve ensuring services are of the highest quality, leading change management initiatives, and driving the growth of new and existing provisions.
About You
You are an accomplished leader with a strong background in social care, particularly within autism services. You have a proven track record of managing teams, driving service improvements, and building collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop high-quality autism support services, fostering innovation and growth.
- Strategically plan and implement regional development initiatives.
- Manage and support Service Managers, Administrators, and staff teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with Care Inspectorate and SSSC standards, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee service budgets and collaborate with finance teams to ensure robust financial management.
- Drive partnerships with Local Authorities, Commissioners, and other stakeholders to develop new opportunities.
- Lead safeguarding processes, ensuring robust adherence to legislative requirements.
- Promote best practices, including Studio 3 principles, to reduce and eliminate restraint.
Essential Skills and Experience:- SVQ 4 in Health and Social Care and Leadership and Management Certificate (or equivalent).
- Significant leadership experience within the social care sector.
- Strong knowledge of autism and best practices in care delivery.
- Expertise in financial management, safeguarding, and compliance.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and coaching skills.
- A strategic thinker with the ability to influence and implement change effectively.
