Interim Head Teacher

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic, compassionate, and adaptable Interim Headteacher to lead a school dedicated to providing high-quality education for students with SEN.

The role is a 3 month contract, based in Nottingham. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role and make a lasting impact during a key period of change.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and inspire a team of dedicated staff, ensuring the delivery of an inclusive and student-centered curriculum.
• Drive educational excellence and ensure all students receive the support they need to thrive.
• Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure a collaborative approach to student development.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding and wellbeing across the school community.
• Oversee the effective management of resources, including staff, budget, and facilities, to support the learning environment.

• Experienced Headteacher or senior leader with a proven track record in SEN settings.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of SEN policies, provisions, and best practices.
• A collaborative leader with excellent communication and people-management skills.
• Ability to think strategically and lead through change while maintaining a focus on high-quality education.
• A compassionate, resilient leader who is committed to making a difference in the lives of students with additional needs.
