Job Description: As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, your role will be pivotal in maintaining and repairing mechanical systems and equipment to ensure they function at their peak. Your tasks will include:
- Executing routine maintenance, fitting, inspections, and repairs on mechanical machinery.
- Diagnosing and proficiently troubleshooting mechanical faults, swiftly implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborating seamlessly with other maintenance staff and cross-functional departments to achieve our maintenance goals.
- Strictly adhering to safety protocols and ensuring unwavering compliance with pertinent regulations.
- Rapidly responding to emergency maintenance requests to ensure operational continuity.
- Harnessing your expertise in areas like Hydraulics, Pneumatics, gears, motors, drives, and sprockets.
Qualifications and Skills: Your success in this role hinges on your qualifications and skills, including:
- A mechanical engineering Apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3 /HNC or City and Guilds Apprenticeship).
- A proven track record in maintenance and repair work, ideally within the FMCG or Chemical sector.
- A profound understanding of mechanical systems and equipment.
