Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) – Plastic Injection Moulding📍 Location: Rochdale 
💰 Salary: £50,000 + Excellent Benefits Package
🕒 Shifts: Monday to Friday, Flexi-Time (8-hour shifts)
Are you an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer looking for a flexible working schedule in a plastic injection moulding environment?
We’re working with a leading plastic manufacturer in Littleborough seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work in a high-tech, precision-driven environment with cutting-edge machinery.
The Role:

  • Electrical maintenance & fault finding on injection moulding machines and supporting equipment
  • PLC fault finding & troubleshooting
  • Working with motors, control panels, sensors, and automation systems
  • Performing preventative & reactive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime
  • Supporting continuous improvement and machine reliability projects
🔍 What We're Looking For:
  • Electrically qualified (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC/HND or equivalent)
  • Experience in plastic injection moulding, manufacturing, or process industries
  • Strong knowledge of PLC fault finding, motors, and electrical control systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Health & safety awareness in a high-tech production environment
