We are delighted to be working closely with a fast growing care provider. I’m looking to appoint a Deputy Mangager for their residential home local to Bath.

Hours: Full time

Salary: £45k per annum

Key Responsibilities

As a Deputy Manager, you will form part of the senior team responsible for leading, motivating & managing staff in the home.

  • Support the Manager to lead, direct, supervise and support the staff teams working within the care home in providing a network of services which can respond flexibly to the needs of individual customers.
  • Supporting the Manager to provide high quality care for our Service Users within the Company’s Quality Assurance framework.
  • Working/liaising with families and other professionals such as a GP’s and Social Workers.
  • Support the recruitment & retention of effect staff teams in the home.
  • Supporting the Manager to deal with incidents and following reporting procedures.
  • Ensuring a person centred approach is adopted to meet the identified needs of the customer.
  • Facilitate & attend staff meetings.
Experience Required
  • A minimum of 2 years work experience in a residential care or health care setting.
  • Proven experience of managing teams of internal staff.
  • Proven experience of supporting the management of commercial budgets, driving occupancy and fee management
  • Strong ability to build relationships internally with staff and residents and their families.
  • Experience of working successfully with stakeholders and CQC.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
