Are you a dedicated and experienced care professional looking to lead a well-established residential home? We have an exciting opportunity for an accomplished Residential Home Manager to join our team and take charge of our 66-bed residential home in Arbroath. This role offers the chance to lead a fully recruited team, build on recent successes, and ensure the home continues to provide the highest standards of care.
 
About the Role
As the Residential Home Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with Care Inspectorate (CI) standards and maintaining a person-centred approach to care.
  • Upholding and improving the home’s strong performance, currently rated 4s in its most recent CI inspection.
  • Overseeing staff performance, addressing minor challenges such as staff sickness and absence, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Working closely with residents, families, and external professionals to ensure exceptional care delivery.
  • Managing budgets, audits, and governance processes to ensure the home operates efficiently and effectively.
 
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in home management within adult social care, ideally in a residential care setting.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with a hands-on and proactive approach to leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and a track record of achieving or maintaining good inspection outcomes.
