Responsible Individual – Clinical & Social Care Services

Location: South Wales

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum

Driving License: Essential

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dedicated Responsible Individual to oversee and ensure the highest standards of care across a range of clinical and social care services, including Supported Living, Nursing Homes, and Residential Homes. This senior leadership role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while promoting excellence in care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight to ensure services operate in line with CIW regulations and legislative requirements.
• Ensure high-quality care and support services that meet the individual needs of residents and service users.
• Monitor and improve service performance, safeguarding standards, and staff development.
• Work closely with Registered Managers, care teams, and external stakeholders to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Implement policies and procedures that align with best practices in the health and social care sector.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and assessments to maintain and enhance service quality.
• Act as a key liaison with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a senior management role within the health and social care sector.
• Extensive knowledge of CIW regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership and operational management skills.
• Ability to drive service improvements while maintaining high standards of care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full UK driving license and ability to travel across South Wales as required.
