Role: Commissioning Deputy Manager

Salary: £48,000 - £50,000
We are partnering with a leading care provider to recruit a Deputy Home Manager for a luxurious, state-of-the-art care home set to open in December 2024 in the prestigious West End of Glasgow. This brand-new, purpose-built facility will offer exceptional nursing, dementia, and respite care.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and compassionate leader to join a new team and help shape the future of the home from the very beginning. Working closely with the Home Manager, you will play a key role in implementing high standards of care and overseeing all aspects of the home’s operations. You’ll have the opportunity to help create a nurturing, professional environment for both staff and residents, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and stepping into the Home Manager role when required.

Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and direction to staff, ensuring adherence to the company's values and mission.
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality, personalised care for residents.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including health and safety protocols.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting the home within the local community.
- Support the continuous development and improvement of staff through training and performance management.
- Provide clinical oversight and ensure the implementation of best practices.
- Be available for on-call duties when necessary.
Qualifications & Experience:- Management qualification or equivalent professional experience
- Nursing qualification (desirable)
- Proven management experience in a care setting
- Full driving license (desirable)
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
