English Teacher – Specialist Education
Location: Croydon
Salary: £40,000 - £52,000, Dependent on experience
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Teaching Level: Key Stages 3 and 4 (Ages 11-16)
A specialist education provider in Croydon is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to support students aged 11-16 with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, ADHD, and Autism. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with additional needs.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
- Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and 4
- Strong knowledge of SEMH needs, ADHD, and Autism
- Up-to-date safeguarding training
- Ability to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment tailored to individual needs
