We are looking for an exceptional Headteacher to launch and shape a brand-new specialist school, opening its doors in the New Year. This is a unique opportunity to build a thriving educational community from the ground up, supporting up to 80 young people (ages 8-13) with Autism Spectrum Condition.
As the Headteacher of this pioneering school, you’ll have the chance to:
- Establish a learning environment that empowers students and changes lives.
- Shape the school's culture, values, and curriculum from day one.
- Lead with vision and innovation, guiding the school through its foundational stages and setting the standard for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Craft and drive the school’s vision, ethos, and values.
- Design a cutting-edge curriculum that caters to diverse learners.
- Build and develop a talented team, fostering a collaborative culture with high expectations.
- Ensure top-tier standards of safety, safeguarding, and student wellbeing.
- Forge strong partnerships with the Local Authority, external agencies, parents, and the wider community.
- Manage the school’s financial resources to ensure sustainability.
- Lead the school through Ofsted inspections, aiming to exceed all regulatory standards.
What We’re Looking For:- Proven leadership experience within the education sector.
- A background in specialist provisions or school setups is a plus, but not essential – we value passion and potential!
