Interim Children's Home Manager (Midlands)

We have an exciting interim role for a Children's Home Manager in the Midlands area, perfect for someone who thrives in a challenging yet rewarding environment.

Contract: Interim (6-12 months with potential extension)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

As an Interim Children’s Home Manager, you will be at the heart of the mission to provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children and young people. You will oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring that high standards of care are consistently delivered in line with OFSTED regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a dedicated team to provide exceptional care and support to children aged 8-18
  • Ensure the home meets all regulatory standards and adheres to safeguarding policies
  • Develop individualised care plans that promote emotional, physical, and educational wellbeing
  • Work closely with external agencies, families, and professionals to ensure holistic support for the children
  • Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively to ensure smooth operation of the home
  • Monitor and improve performance through regular assessments and compliance checks

What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience as a Registered Manager or senior leadership role within children’s residential care
  • Strong knowledge of OFSTED regulations and statutory requirements
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams in a high-pressure environment
