Job Title: Interim Registered Nurse
Up to £21 per hour
Full-time 5 days a week
 
We are currently working with a small charity who currently require a Registered Nurse based on-site in their Nursing/Dementia service in Wigan for 1 month with the possibility of an extension.
Reporting directly to the Clinical Services Manager the successful candidate will be overseeing a unit of up to 16 residents.
 
The successful candidate must,
 

• Have an Active Nursing PIN.
• Monitor resident conditions and complete relevant documentation such as risk assessments and updating of care plans.
• Supervise morning medication rounds, ensuring accurate dispensing and assessment of resident needs and complete medication counts for residents.
• Ensure any communication with the MDT is recorded and all MDT referrals are completed.
• Achieve a reduction in medication errors and effectively manage resident falls.
• NHS experience is an advantage.
