We are seeking a dynamic, nurse-qualified Registered Home Manager with a proven track record in leading the turnaround of poorly performing care homes to improve Care Inspectorate grades and drive the home towards excellence.

Job Description:
As the Registered Home Manager, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing the operational and clinical performance of the home. Your focus will be on driving improvements in care standards, implementing effective turnaround strategies, and ensuring full compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the turnaround of a poorly performing care home, developing and executing strategies to drive improvements in care standards and inspection outcomes.
• Lead and mentor staff, fostering a high-performing team culture and improving morale.
• Ensure full adherence to Care Inspectorate regulations and work towards achieving outstanding inspection results.
• Champion excellence in care delivery, ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents.
• Manage budgets effectively to ensure the home’s financial sustainability.

• Nurse-qualified with an active NMC PIN.
• At least 3 years’ experience as a Home Manager with a proven track record of achieving and maintaining strong Care Inspectorate grades.
• Demonstrated success in leading turnaround projects in care homes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Care Inspectorate standards and compliance requirements.
