Registered Home Care Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Homecare Manager to lead and manage a homecare service in the North-East.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in healthcare management to make a positive impact on the lives of those we care for. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care, managing a dedicated team, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of care professionals to deliver outstanding homecare services.
• Develop, implement, and monitor care plans to ensure the highest standards of care are achieved.
• Ensure all regulatory requirements (CQC) are met and maintain compliance with all relevant guidelines.
• Oversee staff recruitment, training, and development, fostering a supportive and engaged team environment.
• Develop and manage the branch’s P&L, ensuring the service is both financially sustainable and continues to grow.
• Manage customer relationships, responding to feedback and ensuring satisfaction is maintained.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to ensure the safety and well-being of both staff and clients.
• Monitor and review performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve quality and efficiency.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Homecare Manager or in a similar role, managing domiciliary or homecare services.
• A deep understanding of CQC regulations and a proven ability to achieve high inspection ratings.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in team recruitment, training, and development.
• A passion for delivering person-centered care and improving the lives of individuals in your community.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and staff.
• Strong organizational skills and experience with financial management, including P&L responsibility.
