Registered Home Manager – Medium-Sized Nursing Home
Location: Shrewsbury
Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 DOE + Bonus
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Registered Home Manager to lead a well-established, medium-sized nursing home in Shrewsbury. With strong systems already in place, this home is seeking a dedicated leader to unite the team, enhance performance, and ensure the delivery of exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on leadership, bringing the team together and fostering a positive, collaborative culture.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care and compliance with CQC regulations.
- Utilize existing systems effectively, ensuring smooth processes and the best possible outcomes for residents.
- Drive occupancy levels through excellent service delivery and community engagement.
- Ensure minimal agency use by focusing on staff retention and development.
- Embrace and optimize electronic care systems, ensuring accurate record-keeping and streamlined operations.
- Achieve and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), contributing to the home’s ongoing success.
Requirements:- Proven experience as a Registered Home Manager
- RGN ideal, alternatively 2 years experience within a nursing home
- Strong leadership skills, with a track record of building and uniting successful teams.
- Experience working with electronic care systems and leveraging data-driven insights.
- Excellent understanding of CQC regulations and best practices in care delivery.
- Commitment to maintaining high occupancy and minimizing agency reliance.
