Registered Manager – Medium Nursing Home

Location: Worcester

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + Bonus + Industry-Leading Benefits

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic Registered Manager to lead a well-established, medium-sized nursing home in Worcester. The home is known for its high-quality care, strong reputation, and well-managed operations.

Role Overview: This position is ideal for a strong and capable manager with a proven track record in the care sector. The home maintains high occupancy levels, minimal agency reliance, and a strong private fee-paying client base. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the continued success of the service, driving standards of care, and leading a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership and operational management, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance.
  • Maintain excellent occupancy levels and effectively manage private fee structures.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development of staff to uphold a high-quality service.
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance with CQC and other relevant bodies.
  • Implement best practices to maintain low agency usage and a stable workforce.
  • Drive continuous improvement, financial performance, and resident satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Experience in a Registered Manager role within a nursing home or similar setting.
  • A valid NMC registration (RGN preferred but not essential).
  • Strong leadership, operational, and business management skills.
  • Experience working with private fee-paying residents and managing financial aspects of care provision.
  • A proven track record of CQC compliance and quality improvement.
