Location: Macclesfield, Cheshire

Salary: Up to £23 per hour

Hours: Up to 36/48 hours per week (12-hour shifts)

A reputable care home in Macclesfield is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join its team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Resident Care: Deliver exceptional nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Care Planning: Develop, implement, and review individualized care plans to ensure the highest standard of care is provided.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications and treatments in accordance with the care home’s policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy and safety.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals and care staff to provide holistic care to residents.
  • Compliance and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Family Liaison: Communicate effectively with residents’ families, providing updates on care and addressing any concerns.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Registered Nurse: Must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a care home or similar environment is preferred, particularly in elderly care.
  • Clinical Skills: Strong clinical and nursing skills, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of care.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team and build relationships with residents and their families.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including 12-hour shifts, to meet the needs of the care home.
