Support Team Leader
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Hours: Monday to Friday with weekend on-call twice a month
I am currently working with a fantastic client who is looking for a Support Team Leader to join their team in York. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced leader in health and social care to step into a role where they can truly make an impact.

The Role:As a
Support Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of support staff, ensuring that high-quality, person-led care is provided. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires flexibility and commitment, including being available for evening and weekend emergencies when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team to deliver personalised support services
- Ensure care plans are implemented and adapted to meet individual needs
- Act as the first point of contact for emergencies and weekend on-call duties twice a month
- Support and mentor staff, promoting best practices and professional development
- Maintain compliance with CQC, safeguarding, and health & safety regulations
- Build strong relationships with supported individuals, families, and stakeholders
What My Client Is Looking For:- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within health & social care
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in care
- A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (essential)
